On October 18th, volunteers from the Thamesford Lions will be out along the highways picking up trash as part of our commitment to Oxford County and our community to keep the roads clean.

This event used to be open to the public, but due to the risks associated with being near roadways and the potential hazards of the litter we might encounter, it will now be limited to our volunteers. However, we encourage everyone to help out in their own way by picking up any garbage along your own driveway or nearby areas to do your part in keeping our community clean.

We appreciate all the kind honks! A simple, friendly “toot toot” lets us know we’re doing well. The event will run from 9 AM to the afternoon.
